Captain Richard Cronkright has served the Office of Genesee County Sheriff for nearly two decades in Corrections, Law Enforcement and the Paramedic Division.  Captain Cronkright oversees the Paramedic Division, which includes nearly 40 certified Paramedics serving Genesee County as both certified Police Deputies and Paramedics. In addition, Captain Cronkright oversees the Office of Emergency Management within Genesee County and has a working knowledge of the Corrections Division with detailed understanding of the Paramedic and Law Enforcement Divisions.

Captain Cronkright is an active member of the Protocol and Professional Standards Review Committees within the Genesee County Medical Authority.  His involvement and proactive approach with Law Enforcement, EMS and ER Departments has helped improve the quality of care provided to patients throughout Genesee County.
